Thank you for the question. The QUAD MAX is well suited for use on aluminum.
Thank you for the question. Construction adhesive are not designed for filling cracks in a wooden deck. There are products available on the market for this purpose depending upon the type of cracks you have. Unfortunately, Loctite does not offer such a product for this purpose
Thank you for the question. The OSI QUAD MAX can be used for this purpose depending on the type of stucco you have. If you need assistance, please reach out to our technical team at 1-800-624-7767 so we can help.
Thank you for the question. The OSI QUAD MAX can be applied between 0°F and 140°F ambient. However, it is important to know that extreme conditions may have a negative impact on the products overall performance during cure time depending upon nature of the project. Optimal performance will be achieved when ambient temperatures are above freezing and below 100°F during the cure process. Low temperatures and humidity conditions will slow or extend the cure times. Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of any frost, snow or ice. The QUAD MAX is an air moisture cure product so freezing temperatures (below 32°F) may impact bond strength if applied to frozen surfaces.
Thank you for the question. The OSI QUAD MAX is an SMP technology or hybrid polyurethane (Silane Modified Polymer)
Thank you for the question. The OSI QUAD MAX is not a glazing sealant type sealant and would not be suitable for the intended application.
Thank you for te question. Removal is possible by cutting the sealant bead away
Thank you for the question. Caulking joints that are too small becomes a maintenance situation and sometimes more frequent than not depending upon the situation. The manufacture does not recommend caulking butt joints that are not of proper design or narrow seam joints in new construction on prefinished siding materials. What is important to know is that all sealants at some point in time will require maintenance depending on how they were used, and sometimes replacement, because of the effects of aging, or because of poor joint design or because of installation deficiencies that can cause premature failure.
Thank for the question. The QUAD MAX is ideal for use in joints to control moisture. The success depends on how you intend to actually use the product which is not described.
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, once the QUAD MAX sealant is cured it is chemical resistant and does not dissolve with solvents. All you can do is carefully cut the sealant bead away. Once you get the bilk away use a soft cloth with a back and forth motion to try and rub as much residue off as possible. You can try a citrus solvent like goo gone and then clean area afterwards with alcohol. Sadly to say there is no guarantee this will work and you will needs lots of patience
