Product Details

Pro Poly Guard slowly releases food grade (Crystals) into the water supply, protecting plumbing and water using appliances from corrosion and hard water. This NSF approved product will eliminate rust staining in toilets, tubs and sinks. Poly Guard is an economical way to treat problem water. This product will extend the life of plumbing and appliances by coating the interior walls and reducing scale buildup. 1 cartridge will treat 30,000 Gal. of water. Replace after 30,000 Gal. or every 6-months. Crystals will not completely dissolve. The " POLY GUARD CRYSTAL CARTRIDGE " is a replacement cartridge for the POLY GUARD system. So far i have not had to change this cartridge but I did try a few times to remove and install it prior to the water being connected as a test only. It is an exact replacement fit with no issues installing it. I do wish that it is a bit easier to see the product inside to determine if it needs replacing at that time.

I have the complete system and this is my replacement media cartridge it is a direct replacement so no worries as to working like the one that came with the system. The media cartridge is good for 30,000 gallons of water so a very long life. I have the system install on my motor home so it will last me 6 to 9 months and protect my appliances low cost of protection.

The 15 lbs. Poly Guard Crystal Cartridge seems to be working. We have not had it long enough to give a long term review but we started having the rusty color where the water comes out of the toilet so we installed this product and I have seen a lot of change. I think the existing stains are going away. I recommend this product but I think I will update at a later time for comparsion.

I received the Poly Guard Crystal Cartridge the same time I received the installation kit. The kit came with crystals in it so I have not used the replacement cartridge as of yet. I did observe it while installing the kit and it is a direct replacement to the original canister or you can just pour the crystals from this cartridge into the original canister. Looks to be made of very high quality and requires very little knowledge to use. I would recommend this product as a replacement if needed.

I use water purifyers at every location of the business I am with. I have used one that de scales, softens etc. I have not had issues with them. I received this cartridge and the unit to use it. This works pretty well, but leaves some to be desired. I am using in the house and find the water taste ok. I still feel the water doesn't taste as good as it could. It does work as advertised, but would like to see it be able to be more effective
