Is this light fixture dimmable?

AnswerThank you for you recent inquiry. Yes, this light is dimmable, with a standard incandescent dimmer . If using a CFL/LED please pay careful attention to the bulb manufacturer’s warning/caution statements on the packaging or printed on the lamp. For example, many CFL’s will indicate on the packaging that they cannot be used with a dimmer. Thanks!

Very nice look, however, do question the life as very little plating on the surface. I have seen reviews where this is an issue, especially in a bathroom, where this is located. Time will tell! Fairly easy to mount, although I thought the supplied wall fasteners were overkill, requiring a 5/8 drilled hole. I purchased fasteners that required a smaller hole and mounted the fixture with no issues.

Super pretty until the balls became COMPLETELY rusty only after a couple months
The installation was easy, and I did it myself with a drill. I absolutely LOVED how it looked in my bathroom and thought that it was the best purchase ever until that shocking moment when I looked up and saw the rusty balls that hold the back plate. It has been only a couple month since I bought the fixture, and I expected it to last for way longer than this, so no, I would not recommend this product unless you do not use it in your bathroom.

I am disappointed with this because a week after installation the balls that hold the backplating up already started to rust. I am hoping that the back plating doesn't start rusting.

PROS: Well packaged. Nice contemporary design. Easy to install. Fixture works as expected. CONS: The metal is low quality and care needs to be taken so it doesn't become dented or scratched. After installation we discovered the noted areas of color defect (which seem to be worsening 3-months post-purchase), but we didn't want to wait for the item to be restocked for replacement. Fortunately, they're only visible if you're standing directly beneath the fixture. At least two of the shades don't fit securely. OVERALL: It's a good vanity light, but the price really should be below $99.

Remodeling our master bath and needed a set of matching fixtures in brushed nickel that provided the same or better amount of light that we were replacing. We were replacing a 4-light and a 6-light fixture that my wife affectionately referred to as "clown" lights. We liked the fact that these could be mounted facing up or down and came in multiple number of light configurations... bonus. We purchased the 3-light and the 5-light fixtures online and HD shipped and delivered very quickly (actually before I could get everything ready). I've put up a lot of fixtures and these were well designed with a separate back mounting plate that I used 2-3" toggle-bolts into the sheet-rock. Due to some sort of pipe in the wall, I ended up drilling another hole in the backplate to move the location for the toggle-bolt; it was no problem. The front plate went on with 2 decorative ball-nuts. I would have liked it to have a larger opening in the center of the backplate to make the wiring more accessible but it was manageable. We put the lights facing down with 3-60w LED "bright-white" bulbs which actually provides more light than the 4-"Clown"-light fixture that was there before! I have a little dry-wall repair and painting before I put up the new 5-light fixture but I'm sure I will be just as pleased with the fixture and it's quality and would highly recommend.
