Q:What is the product number For the two pack of 18volt 12AH batteries to register for the LSA? The H.D. website says AC840120-AC840120 but that doesn't work. Do I need to register each one separately?

Too big for the new Ridgid chainsaw and maybe other tools?
Purchased the Ridgid chainsaw without batteries as I also purchased these 12 amp batteries (on sale) hoping to extend my time between battery changes. I love the saw but unfortunately these 12 amp batteries are physically too big. Was the chainsaw I purchased a beta product or maybe the batteries are??? Ridgid claims that their batteries will work with all their tools. I even checked the webpage describing the chainsaw, and the claim is there. Ridgid needs to adjust their position about their batteries or make sure that they will work with all their tools.

False advertisement!!!
Despite what THEIR ad says AND THEIR customer service rep, Jewel, 12Ah batteries DO NOT fit is ALL Ridgid tools!
They DO NOT fit the chainsaw and the HD0318 Ridgid NXT 3 gallon cordless Vacuum.
Come on Ridgid, get your act together.
No more false advertisements!!!

Yep, the 12ah is a beast!
Spent last weekend workin on my truck, paired this battery with the 1/2” impact and did all 4 rotors, calipers, font wheel bearings, cv axles, dropped front drive axle to change out seals….never changed the battery once and even had enough power left over to blow the shop out with the leaf blower. The battery is obviously heavy but for some things it’s just better to have that extra run time. It’s worth the extra weight to not deal with air hoses and listening to a generator.

The best battery power. Ridgid. 18 vol 12.0 A
One hundred percent recommended. This battery's power and durability is amazing. I have never had a battery like this with these characteristics. Working with this battery I could see how my tool increases the power, making the cut faster and the battery lasts much longer. I also use it on my drills and saw and it still has this great power. It's exactly what I need to advance faster in my projects. Thank you very much Ridgid.

Quick charge for 4.0aH battery.
I have a few ridgid tools and this charger means I don’t really need a ton of batteries. I can use till close to empty, swap over and this has the batteries ready in very fast amount. The power cord has a slot for another item to plug in, so you don’t lose a plug if you decide to leave this plugged in. Easy to see LED to tell you how your charging going. Good and quick. Easy to throw the batteries in and get that fast charge up.

Ridgid is the industry leader in tool quality and warranty
I'm a big fan of Ridgid tools because of their lifetime warranty as long as you register their tools within a reasonable time span. This 18-volt rapid charger charges three times faster than most chargers. This particular charger does not come with any tools it's just sold as a tool only. Has indicators to show you when it's charging and when it's charged, it also has indicators to show you if the battery is defective. On the back is designed to be mounted on a wall or it can sit on the table. I Highly recommended and I believe will not disappoint.

Great for high demand applications
This charger is great for using with high-draw 18v power tools, like the circular saws and lawn tools. I have several batteries from across at least three generations. Mostly because I use my tools a lot and the basic chargers are pretty slow. This new rapid charger is a game changer. I can use a 4ah battery then throw it on the charger while I use a second battery. By the time the second one is used, the first one is charged. I would recommend this charger before buying more batteries.

Ridgid 12ah EXP battery
I liked it better than the 8ah battery because it has more run time and more power.it the run time is amazing 1 day and a half of runtime when I used it for the 18v fan. I used it with the 18v leaf blower and it performs amazing. Same with the string trimmer.I’m definitely buying 5 more 12ah batteries soon.
