Works perfect on a ½ inch mandrel. Dremel or Dremel clone
This ½ inch sanding band works perfect on a Dremel mandrel or a Royobi Dremel clone mandrel. The bands will fit any ½ inch mandrel. You can mix and match with Dremel, or other Dremel clone items. In this case we are using a Craftsman Dremel clone tool, which is holding a Ryobi ½ inch sanding band mandrel, which is holding a Dremel ½ inch sanding band. We mix and match our tool brands in our shop as necessary to get the job done.
The Ryobi sanding band, is mounted on a Dremel mandrel, which is being held by a Dremel clone (Craftsman) Dremel tool.
We are sanding a board for use in one of our wood projects.

When you need to restock sanding bands, try the RYOBI brand, I mean it!
This is my review for RYOBI's 10-piece 60 grit sanding bands. RYOBI's sanding bands will fit any standard ½" x ½" sanding mandrel. These bands are made in the USA. The band is very well constructed and heavy duty. The grit coating is evenly spaced and is uniform thickness all the way around. The grit adhesive is strong, as I could not find one grit grain in the packaging. The Ryobi 60 grit bands are great for rough sanding wood, plastic, or metal. The band did not load up badly when I sanded wood or metal. The plastic did load up, but I was able to pick it off once it cooled. I might have gotten the plastic too hot. I do have a suggestion. A reclosable package would be a nice addition to an already great product.

Easy small area sanding
I needed this Ryobi sanding band so I could dremmel my cocker spaniels nails. Since his nails were long, I first used the heavier 120 grit, then a lower grit to smooth better. These sanding bands work really well. They are very easy to use, just slide onto the mandrel on your dremmel and your all set. There was no catching or pulling, just nice smooth sanding. I would recommend these.
