Does this product have a check valve on the cold water side?

No the yellow handle valve shuts off the cold water and the blue handle valve opens for clean out. No need for a check valve as the yellow handle valves isolates the system from the house supply lines. I like it.

I have some estimates from $700 to $1500. I decided to install by myself with the help of my brother. Since September 2020, we have installed 5 tankless water heaters by ourselves. My house, mom's, brother's and 2 of our good friends houses. I am a DIYer, no contactor.

Corrosion & Leaks after 7 Years!!
I had a plumber install a tankless water heater 7 years ago (Rinnai) and the water heater came with Webstone valves. the water is soft water which should be less corrosive than hard water. I also flush the water heater annually with white vinegar per maintenance instructions. I have turned the ball valves on/off every six months since installation to make sure they don't freeze up. When I tried to turn the Webstone cold water valve handle a few days ago, it broke off causing water to run out. Inspection showed the shaft had corroded thru. Also, attached photos of the hot water valve show 2 pin hole leaks in the "body" and a leak in the packing gland for the main shutoff. When I inspected the interior of both valves, there was considerable corrosion. I was very disappointed with the poor quality. Brass valves should last longer than this in a soft water system!!

Don't buy it
Bought these as a set 10 years ago, went to turn off the water because the heater broke and the handle came off in my hand. Now I had a leak and no hot water. Cheap

The pressure relief valve started to leak the next day it was installed. I have tried everything to fix it, but still leaks. It is very minimal, but should not leak at all. I love rheem products, but this one would not recommend. I would like that someone from rheem get in touch with me so that we can fix this issued.

These were recommended on the Home Depot website while purchasing my Rinnai tankless water heater so I tossed these onto the order. While these are a good configuration, they don't fit well on the Rinnai. The valve levers interfered with the housing and some other pipe features and it was necessary to extend them. It's not that these don't do the trick, it's just not really configured well for use on the Rinnai. Since I didn't attempt to exchange these for something else, you might want to look at something else if you're also planning to use these in a similar installation as I did.

Easy to install valves with convenient shut-offs for water supply and bypass. I liked that the TPR valve was separate to enable installation into tight spaces. And color coded valves are great for safety. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Serves a Triple Purpose
I added Rheem Brass Service Valves when DIY installing our Rheem Tankless Electric. The Service Valves are well built and made with quality brass. The package includes the code-required relief valve. This add-on was well worth the added cost and serves a triple purpose. 1) Regular flushing is a must for longevity and reliability. 2) Code usually requires hot and cold shutoff valves for water heaters. This unit has quality ball valves on the hot and cold side. 3) this unit has union joints that will make swapping out the water heater in the future a breeze. I hope the WH lasts a long time. But, let’s face it, like any high-power appliance, WH’s eventually wear out.
