A:  Hi Specialk and thank you for your question. For technical issues, please call the number on your unit or in your user manual.

A:  I'm sorry. There are many kinds of valves and applications so it is hard to give a specific answer. Without knowing more, I will still offer a tip: So much easier than REPLACING a valve, you can often buy an identical valve and just replace the "guts" in your leaky one.

A:  Not sure leaking at what location of valve?

A:  Tankless hot water heaters must be descaled at least every year. If it's a small unit it will restrict the flow. It is best to over size the unit for more water flow.

                  Simple and easy but pricey
No leaks and simple to setup, worked great on my Rheem tankless heater.

                  No relief valve in box
Description and box label show that a pressure relief valve is included with the two shutoff valves. The tray inside the box does not even have a space for the relief valve.

I would have given a 4 but I have two fairly large issues with these units and I deducted a star for both. They feel great in the hand and definitely feel like they are high quality, the levers are nice and stiff and they have performed well so far on my Rheem 27kw electric tankless. The issues I've had with them are I installed the heater on the wall with a 3/4" piece of plywood behind it. Even with the added distance from the wall you have to install them at a slight angle because the levers will hit the wall and not close properly. Without the wood spacer I would have had some issues as the angle needed might interfere with being able to hook up the service lines later. I read that technically since its a tankless heater you don't have to have the pressure release valve installed but I chose to because codes says so. I've got an LG front loading washer and when I run it on hot and it does its little spurts of water thing it does the pressure from spraying 1 second spurts at intervals had caused the pressure releaf valve to leak a small amount. but enough for me to notice. I wapped the button on the pressure release valve a few times to make sure it was good and closed and turned down my water pressure a small amount at the reducing valve under the house. It was at 80 when I was having this issue. Anyway i haven't seen it leaking lately so I'm not sure which thing fixed it but didn't want to take a chance.

Corrosion & Leaks after 7 Years!!
I had a plumber install a tankless water heater 7 years ago (Rinnai) and the water heater came with Webstone valves. the water is soft water which should be less corrosive than hard water. I also flush the water heater annually with white vinegar per maintenance instructions. I have turned the ball valves on/off every six months since installation to make sure they don't freeze up. When I tried to turn the Webstone cold water valve handle a few days ago, it broke off causing water to run out. Inspection showed the shaft had corroded thru. Also, attached photos of the hot water valve show 2 pin hole leaks in the "body" and a leak in the packing gland for the main shutoff. When I inspected the interior of both valves, there was considerable corrosion. I was very disappointed with the poor quality. Brass valves should last longer than this in a soft water system!!

                      Don't buy it
Bought these as a set 10 years ago, went to turn off the water because the heater broke and the handle came off in my hand. Now I had a leak and no hot water. Cheap

The pressure relief valve started to leak the next day it was installed. I have tried everything to fix it, but still leaks. It is very minimal, but should not leak at all. I love rheem products, but this one would not recommend. I would like that someone from rheem get in touch with me so that we can fix this issued.

These were recommended on the Home Depot website while purchasing my Rinnai tankless water heater so I tossed these onto the order. While these are a good configuration, they don't fit well on the Rinnai. The valve levers interfered with the housing and some other pipe features and it was necessary to extend them. It's not that these don't do the trick, it's just not really configured well for use on the Rinnai. Since I didn't attempt to exchange these for something else, you might want to look at something else if you're also planning to use these in a similar installation as I did.

Easy to install valves with convenient shut-offs for water supply and bypass. I liked that the TPR valve was separate to enable installation into tight spaces. And color coded valves are great for safety. I would definitely recommend to a friend.
