No the yellow handle valve shuts off the cold water and the blue handle valve opens for clean out. No need for a check valve as the yellow handle valves isolates the system from the house supply lines. I like it.
That is what I used on my electric unit and I like it.
Hi Nana and thank you for your question. You can find local contractors or use the link: https://www.rheem.com/ use the link on the top right corner "find a pro"
Because they were new at Home Depot I assumed but I was so focused on getting the tank installed and working worrying about what they were made of was the LAST of my worries but they have functioned great.
Thank you for asking. As long as the water inlet and outlet are both 3/4" it will work.
Heat exchangers are made of copper.
I have some estimates from $700 to $1500. I decided to install by myself with the help of my brother. Since September 2020, we have installed 5 tankless water heaters by ourselves. My house, mom's, brother's and 2 of our good friends houses. I am a DIYer, no contactor.
It is there for the T & P valve. It must be installed as per code
I think you should ALWAYS have shutoff valves to ANY water using device.
Thank you for asking, Dan. The Service Valves are designed to make flushing the Tankless Water Heaters easier. If you have any further questions, please contact us at 1-866-720-2076. Thank you and have a great day.
