I love this lock, it gives you the ability to lock and unlock from anywhere, kids locked out, your on the road, simple just press the unlock on your smartphone and their in. In bed and wonder if the door is locked, simply grab your Ipad and tap lock, done! I didn't give it five stars for one reason and one reason only, during evening hours the numbers of the keypad are difficult to see, there needs to be a "pre light" installed that would light the keypad just prior to entering your code preventing you from entering the wrong code.

Ordered Online. Lockset arrived with scuff marks under clear coat finish. Attempted to exchange at local HD....not carried in-store. Will need to figure out how to exchange online and wait (needed soon) for replacement.

Awesome lock!
Installation:
1) The directions were very easy to read and follow along with the pictures
2) The install was simple, and hardest part was drilling a hole for the bottom part of the handle.
3) Took less than 20 minutes start to finish to have the hardware on and working.
Programing:
1) Make sure your bluetooth is on when using the Schlage Sense App
2) Once it downloaded the newest firmware version programing took less than 5 minutes
Favorite Features:
1) Multiple codes can be programed and named for individuals
a) I can delete, add of disable a codes anytime
b) I can make a schedule of when the code can be used
2) The history feature is very nice because i can see who entered and when
3) I know when the lock is "unlocked" or "locked" and how it was locked
I am impressed with this lock. It has a great look and it feels quality and durable. Great purchase to help make the security of my family and my home a priority.

Love this lock and handset handle! The electronic lock is easy to install and simple to set up a code. Schlage has a great reputation so we feel confident that we'll be kept safe with this lock. There's an option to use a key also, in case the battery dies and the electronic lock fails. The lock mechanism turns super easy also. The app on the phone, only seems to work with the IPhone, I could not find the app on the google play store for an android phone though. This would be great to roll out on for android users. The app is VERY easy to use though.

GREAT lock and handset combination!!!
What I like most: Contemporary, clean design; brushed Nickel finish
What I like about it: Works SEAMLESSLY when paired with my iPhone 7 Plus; can even say "Siri, unlock front door, or lock front door, and Vwalla!!!! the desired action is accomplished.
I have had the lock installed and working for five (five) days.
This lock both meets and exceeds my exceptions! I have seen other reviews indicating the lock did to work when the iOS 10 came out, but my iPhone is running iOS 10 and it works GREAT!
I experienced a problem with the delivery of my Schlage lock from Home Depot. I purchased the combination lock AND handset together. Only the deadbolt arrived. I contacted Home Depot, by phone (on this site), spoke with a representative, who couldn't have been nicer. He took immediate action, and I had the missing handle within 3 - 4 days. EXCELLENT work guys!!!
Now, for the lock. It is SUPER!!! It looks great, and was a breeze to install, by following the Schlage video presentation and the instructions that accompanied the lock. I am NOT mechanically inclined, but I am willing to take on new projects. If you have a door that has a deadbolt (separate from the latch), as pictured on this lock set, AND your latch or handle that opens the door also has a lower bracket or brace as part of your current set-up, also as shown in this picture, it will work. READ the Schlage product details, either on the Home Depot page listing this item, or on the Schlage website, BEFORE ordering, and make sure your door has the measurements outlined on the Home Depot product information guide, I'm sure you too can do this yourself. Go for it!!!!

I love the look and design but I was disappointed that the keypad does not light up at night so you have to guess the where the 1st digit of code is. Also wish you could just hit a "lock button" to lock when leaving instead of re-entering code
