AnswersYes, the fence panels have a high acoustic barrier affect compared to wood fencing. Noise was one of the main reasons I installed six foot panels along a 75 foot run. So far it has cut down significantly the noise coming from an adjacent condominium complex to the south and the neighbors to the west. A taller panel would likely offer even more noise blockage.

Rather that using lattice, we placed this fencing under our deck to hide the vacant space below it. The stuff was easy to install and did exactly what it need to. The box metal reinforcement on the ends was rigid enough to hold the panel in place but soft enough to easily cut through with a 4" grinder. It has a great look to it and it is pretty light. So far, so good! Hopefully it holds up!

These fence panels are well made and install fairly easy. They look really good compared to the conventional cedar board fencing. They're a real savings in labor effort over wood fencing. I look forward to the big benefit of years of service life and how the termites can't destroy my fence.

The panels arrived at my local HD store in a timely manner and in good condition.I actually visited a large fencing contractor, 200 miles away, to inspect the actual panels and posts before purchasing. I ordered from HD since they were much closer and had better pricing. After inspecting the posts I've decide to have my own fabricated entirely out of metal so that they are much stronger and I can have the extra height I want for a custom installation.
