Questions & Answers

Is this safe for pets

Asked by: Dad
Says in description – not safe for pets. Then is it safe for kids? Probably no. Most pesticides don't just kill the 100 bugs listed, but kill almost all insects. Probably frogs, definitely aquatic life, tadpoles, baby dragonflies & butterflies, possibly even birds. By using these types of chemicals you remove the pests' natural predators, so whatever you are trying to get rid of will likely get much worse the following seasons. Carefully target a specific pest if you must, but I would never broadcast a granular wide spectrum pesticide in a family lawn (or anywhere else) True story: I email questioned the EPA why certain toxic & systemic pesticides haven't been banned here as in other countries, their answer was that there was “not enough research and evidence to prove harmful”… (what?!) so when asked how was it approved safe for use to begin with... the answer to that was only cricket sounds. Personally, I'd rather keep the real crickets, and my pets.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cheaply constructed I am 40 years old. This will be the first review I've ever done, good or bad. The actual product works well enough sprayed on a lawn. However, the dispensing container it comes in is so cheaply made it borders on ridiculous. At this price point I both accept, and expect "not well made" , but it should be able to complete it's intended purpose. Once....for ten minutes. Despite careful operation this will be the second unit that has suffered an internal failure of some kind on the bail (on/off lever) rendering it worthless. May be worth spending a few more $ for a lot less hassle.

They came with the house apparently.easy to use you can barely smell it but I was glad it had somewhat of a smell so I could tell it was coming out...I haven’t seen 1 tick

Had stubborn bare patches in lawn that even new sod would eventually die off on, this spring went to put in grass-plugs to repair, and in digging holes for them found that the cause was lawn grubs. One spray, and water-in, and the grubs are gone, and the grass plugs are filling in.

Our yard were infested by ants and we bought two bottles to spray our yard. It clear out the ants hills after two days but it doesn't prevent new ones. I have to buy another bottle to just spray where-ever there is a new mound. The product doesn't hold true to its advertisement.
