Questions & Answers

Is the light Oven light bulb covered under warranty on a GE Adora gas stove that i purchased last year.

Asked by: Tv1947
Hope you are not serious, a light bulb?, check your warranty statement, normally consumables are not covered under any warranty, only thing that might be covered could be a source like a circuit or switch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Budget clamp for quick fixes or light work. For light or medium work, these should be fine. I'm not at all certain they'll hold up to heavy work, given the cheap feel to the plastic parts. While they held tightly even while hammering nails into the work, I felt that too much pressure on the handles would break or damage the clamps, and the plastic button that releases them felt somewhat frail. For $10 each, they're not bad at all, and if you're careful with them and take care of them, they should last for a while. If you're going to be doing anything heavy duty, like building furniture, etc.. you might want to opt for something a bit more rugged.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job & you can't beat that price!!! I searched everywhere online for quality, yet economical bar clamps. I just couldn't see myself paying $30 for just ONE bar clamp...all it does is clamp & hold while you work. So I bought 4 pairs of these in different sizes. The steel bar is rigid & strong, the quick clamp & ratchet feature is super efficient. The only drawbacks are the plastic red tips on the clamps & the plastic material in general. In certain situations, the red tips tend to slide off a bit when you ratchet tightly past a high torque point & then it feels like I'm either going to break the ratchet handle or break the release button. The plastic material is questionable...but I haven't broken a clamp yet, so I'm definitely happy with my purchase. Thank you Tekton for making DIY projects affordable!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked fine Bought six of these to help with assembly of four subwoofer "flat packs" that had to be glued together using clamps. They worked fine for this application, and the price is more reasonable than the fancy clamps. See the picture below for the clamps in action.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from OK, For the price Clamps have a lot of plastic on them, If not used to aggressively they should be OK, BUT you need to keep that in mind, If you are going to use on heavy clamping job, Spend the money and buy better ones. BUT for the price, I have light duty for them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rusty Product I purchased four of these clamps for $9.00 each. I assume that nobody opened them and checked them. When I opened the box, which had apparently been stored in the humid jungle. Every steal rod was rusty. If it had not been for needing to complete this project sooner than later, I would have returned them. Instead I had to steel wool each and every bar to remove the rust, they were filthy. Also the clamping gear needs to be smaller, so that you can get that last little bit of pressure when you are clamping something.
