Are 3 60w soft white bulbs safe to use?

AnswersOf course they would be OK, but why? You can get the same or more light from 3 LED bulbs that use only 8 watts each, and produce almost no heat. For 3 bulbs, thats 180 watts vs 24 watts and that translates directly to much more electric power consumption. The 60 watt conventional bulbs use almost 7 times more electricity (money)!

finish lacking quality
Love the look of this but I noticed rust in it within 1 year in a bath only showered in a couple times a week (and with an exhaust fan)
