Tommy Dock 8 in. Long Cast Steel Auger Foot is designed to attach to your dock post pipe and screw into the lake bottom, providing added stability in most lake bottom conditions. Suggested whenever muck exists greater than 24 in. deep.
  • Provides dock system with added stability
  • Penetrates soft soils in lake bottoms to anchor into solid soils
  • Gray polyester powder coat protects the surface for superior rust protection
  • Screws easily in and out of lake bottoms
  • Not suggested for use in salt or brackish waters
  • Additional suggested purchase of Tommy Docks auger wrench - (both normal duty or heavy duty) Part number TD-10085, It is a valuable convenience tool that assists in installation and removal of dock post pipe and augers
  • Use with Tommy Docks Regular/Normal Duty Dock Post Pipe of 1.660-inches in diameter. The pipe SKU's are A-50015-2, A-50017-2 & A-50019-2
  • ONLY works with a 1.660-inch O.D. diameter pipe
  • Does not work with 2 in. pipe

I drive my about 3 feet into the river bed and find my dock is very stable. The current in my river is very fast and there is a lot of debris that floats into the dock and the poles have always held.

Avoid at all costs, poorly made product, fails to secure into the piping tommy docks also sells leaving you in a situation where you feel you are wrenching it in right but the auger has come lose losing it in the much forever, waste of money, total garbage, much better solutions out there for the money. Look at the picture this is all thats left after I lost both!

Wrong part? They are not even close to 12" long. They are about 8" long.
I am not sure why this should matter as the parts are nice castings with powder coating. I think they should be just fine. There is also a dimple cast 180 degrees opposite from the threaded bolt. If I am correct, it shows they cut a fat corner to save money on fabrication cost.

To small for 2’ pipe description said it could handle 2 1/2 inch pipe hade to return and look for bigger augers. Big hassle to order on line then it’s wrong
