Product Overview

About 2019 New DOE Dehumidifier: Under the revised 2019 DOE standards, dehumidifiers were tested in a room condition of 65°F and a relative humidity level of 60%. (While the dehumidifiers were tested in a room condition of 80°F and 60% Relative humidity based on 2012 DOE standards). TOSOT NEW 35 PINT unit could still remove 50 pints of water if you put it in an 80°F room with 60% humidity, but it is more realistic to say that it can remove 35 pints of water if you have a 65°F room at 60% humidity. NEW DOE 35 Pint would perform the same with previous 50 pint in either environment. About TOSOT: Our goal at TOSOT is to be the home appliance brand you can trust. From the moment you discover us to the first time you open the box, all of our efforts are dedicated to becoming the brand you can count on. As we grow and evolve, our mission will always be the same-- to improve the quality of your home by offering thoughtful, carefully designed products. The way to a quality life starts with a quality home.
  • 3,000 sq. ft. our dehumidifier can remove up to 35 pints of water every 24 hours (same as 50 pt. units under 2012 DOE standard) a lower humidity level allows your AC system to work more efficiently because it's easier to change the temperature of dry air compared to moist, super-humid air
  • Auto drain: this dehumidifier will stop running if the water bucket fills up; save time with automatic drainage by hooking up a 3/4 in. dehumidifier drain hose (not included) to your dehumidifier, if you don't want continuous drainage you can use the removable water bucket (1.5 Gal. capacity) to manually empty the dehumidifier and restart moisture removal
  • Real-time monitoring: after choosing a target humidity level the control panel will display the current humidity level, the dehumidifier will power off after reaching the target you set, if you want the dehumidifier to run nonstop regardless of the current humidity level, press the minus button until the control panel displays "NS", the dehumidifier will run until the drain bucket is full, which will never happen if you have the continuous drain set up
  • Silent operation: this dehumidifier is so quiet you might even forget it's there, a peak sound level of 50 dB (using high speed) will be almost as quiet as a private suburban street or a normal conversation at home
  • Saves you money: since it is Energy-Star rated, this dehumidifier will quickly remove moisture from the air without running up your utility bill, Energy Star appliances are not just better for the environment, they also cost 30% less to operate compared to non-Energy Star appliances

Hello, you simply need to attach any standard ¾” hose to the drain outlet on the left side of the unit (when looking at it from the front.) Run the ¾” hose into your floor drain or sink and the machine will run constantly.

Worked great. Sometimes less is more and in this case, I appreciate the smaller size bucket. Carrying this from the basement I did not want something too bulky or back breaking. Having the small bucket makes emptying it out easier and since it is light, for me , I am less likely to spill it. This has a timer, you can only set it for 2 hours or 4 hours and that is it. The LED panel is clearly visible. As far as noise, when this was operating on low my sound meter measured 38db with this on, and when it was off the sound level in the room was 25DB. This has a nice space saving slim design. Worked well to reduce the basementy smell

This dehumidifier is a work horse. It works in 3,000 square feet very effectively. I have both the 30 pint and the 50 pint units. In comparison you can see the difference in bucket size. The 50 pint collects more water so you don't have to empty it as often, which I like. Both the 30 pint and 50 pint units have the option to hook up a hose to run to a floor drain. The hose is not included; you need one with a 3/4" inside diameter connection. You don't have to empty the bucket when operated with the drain hose. The bucket has a handle to help stabilize it while you carry it to empty, however, I hold from the underside when it is full. When it is full, the unit has a series of beeps to let you know. If there is a power outage, both units remember your settings when the power is restored. They are not very noisy to run. The pictures below show the size differences between the 30-pint and 50-pint size.

We just replaced an old dehumidifier that we've used for several years but was not very effective anymore, and it made a racket when it got near full. It also gave off alot of heat which is not desirable in the summer months especially. We put this Tosot dehumidifier in our basement yesterday afternoon and already what a difference. Setup was about as easy as plugging it in and pushing a button on top. We like to run ours continuously during the summer and this ran all night with no issues. We woke up to a full tank which is exactly what we want to see. And while running the air coming out is not all that warm at all, virtually no temperature change in our basement. The sound level is more than acceptable, we kept it on medium and it just sounds like a small air conditioner is running (see video) But the best part was walking down there and truly feeling the dryness, no more musty air.

TOSOT THANK YOU I could not open the box quick enough, read the user manual and begin sucking the moisture out of the air. Not only is TOSOT Dehumidifier appealing enough to have sitting anywhere in my home, it is also smaller then other units, runs quiet, comparable to a fan. Absolutely Amazed in the amount of water in the bucket the first morning, was enough water to flush the commode. I read reviews prior to receiving the TOSOT and was concerned of the amount of heat the unit puts into the air. Air blowing out of the top vent is slightly warmer then cool. I run the unit in a large open area throughout the night, then easily roll off to the side of the room during the day. The unit will dehumidify and clean the air you breath of up to 3000 sq ft Manual states the first time used to run for 24 hours, I noticed a difference in the air in my home the first hour and removed about 2 inches of water. The dehumidifier weighs 45 pounds, 15 inches wide, 24 inches in height and a little over 11 inches in depth. Easy to read display top panel lights up displaying Power, Filter, select humidity level, begins at 5, next option is 35 and up, display will then appear humidity in your home. My home began with humidity at 50 but unit shows humidity level is down to 40, option to have the fan run at 3 different speeds, last button is a timer for 2, 4 hours or run continuously. Green indicator light will appear when bucket is full, the unit will also beep for 10 seconds then automatically shut off. Instructions also include how to set up with a hose to place in a drain. Why this unit is so much needed and appreciated, as I write this review a warning popped up of a Heat Advisory Warning in todays forecast, 9:00 A.M humidity is at 71 percent, 86 degrees feels like 96. My home is in Florida, yesterday was 91 degrees, with humidity 107 degrees Yuck Another reason TOSOT is appreciated I have beautiful laminate floors throughout my home. I was not aware when I began noticing seams lifting at the attaching joints could be caused by high humidity, I hope TOSOT Dehumidifier will prevent further lifting. The difference of what 78 degrees feels like in my home before running TOSOT dehumidifier for 12 hours compared to now simply put blows my mind.. I do smell a musty odor but the longer the unit runs the less the odor, TOSOT is pulling the moisture out of the air TOSOT Dehumidifier is stated to be Energy Efficient. I will leave the unit run the summer months to breath easier and compare to last years electric at this time but honestly if my power bill goes up a few dollars it will be worth it because the difference in the air Im breathing and the comfort is Priceless?

50-Pint 3000 Sq. ft. with Bucket Portable ENERGY STAR Dehumidifier for Basements, Large Rooms, and Whole House *Does not come with drainage hose. Very quiet. The operating volumes of the TOSOT dehumidifier are 52/50/48 decibels on the high/medium/low settings. A decibel rating of 45 or under will be virtually silent. Decibel levels between 45 and 50 are about as loud as light rainfall. Ratings of 50 or above will be equivalent to the level of a quiet conversation at home. Since it is Energy-Star rated your TOSOT Dehumidifier is not only effective at removing moisture, it also helps you save money on your monthly utility bill. TOSOT Dehumidifiers are also UL-approved, meaning they meet the highest safety standards for use in your home. In the event of a power outage, your TOSOT dehumidifier will resume operation once full power is restored to your home. The dehumidifier will revert to the same settings you chose before the unit lost power, giving you one less thing to worry about. If your dehumidifier is running constantly, the drain bucket will need to be drained about every five (5) hours. You won't spill a drop of water when emptying the bucket thanks to the swivel handle and spill-resistant baffles of the drain bucket. To make the bucket easier to carry we recommend that you place your free hand under the bucket when you are transporting the full drain bucket.

I’ve been using this dehumidifier for approximately three weeks, and it seems to be alleviating the dampness in my basement. It was easy to set up, and it runs quietly. I hope it lasts longer than my previous dehumidifier which only ran for nine years.

Great product. I especially liked the fact that the air intake is on the front grill, and air output is on the top, so I was able to put it up against a wall vent and it would suck air from the basement living room into the laundry room where it could drain into the floor drain.
