Should be called 4.5 in x 4.5 in
Too big for my 4x4 deck post. Will be returning. The packaging splits the halves.

Good post base
This base matches with a cap of the same material. This sleeve fits perfectly around a sided 4x4 post. Much better than a wooden product - this composite product is easy to clean and looks nice. Being a composite product - I do expect it will have a much longer expected lifetime than any wooden sleeve.
Very good option for less maintenance and durability.

TREX Post Sleeve Skirt in White
Great product to provide a outstanding finished look to your TREX 4x4” Post Sleeve.
Well made will last for many years. A periodic cleaning wipe suggest every few month to clean any bird or other marks.
The product is simple, but well made, fits perfectly, easy to install (just slide down the post sleeve prior to installing rails)
No screws or glue required.
Highly recommended for that finished high end look.
