Yes. I'm using them in my aquaponics grow beds without any problem.
I believe so. I bought them for my aquaponics grow bed and am using them as a grow media. They appear to be the same as my other expanded clay pellets except the color is different (these are greyish compared to the red of my other clay pebbles).
Thank you for inquiring about Viagrow. Yes you can use this for Orchids. Use ViaStone virtually anywhere: the greenhouse, in propagation systems, for outdoor gardening, around shrubs and trees, as compost aeration, or as a hydroponic growing medium. Thank you
Possible, but it is light weight and could be scattered by foot traffic or washed off slopes.
The rocks measure between 8 and 16 mm each.
Thank you for contacting Viagrow. We are not familiar with Seramis, but our product is is expanded clay medium grow rocks. Thank you
50 l ViaStone Hydroponic Gardening Medium Grow Rock is not a Expanded Shale product.. ViaStone is a "Kiln-Fired" clay product resembling small pebbles of various sizes. As far as the bag weight goes, I have 1/3 bag left over from my work and it weighs 20lb. That tell's you a full bag probably weighs over 50lb. I do not know what your application will be, but mine was to provide proper water drainage for my potted pepper plants and ViaStone is the best I've ever used. My mixture is 1/3 to 1/2 ViaStone and 2/3 to 1/2 potting soil. My plants thrive in it. Hope this helps.
