Best RTA furniture
Thank you so much for a beautiful piece of furniture. This is the best piece of Ready To Assemble furniture I have ever purchased or put together. I have put together so many pieces of RTA and this by far was the nicest. The packaging was the best I have ever seen. I loved the pieces of wood that were placed on each and sides of the box. That made the product so well protected. When I received the box it was damaged and I was so sure that there was going to be a broken piece. The only broken piece in the box was the protected end piece that is marked For Packing Only. When the UPS driver brought the box into my house he was a little rough with the box on one of the corners I thought great there goes as broken piece. But no broken pieces.
I love this piece of furniture I was exactly what I was looking for and I got a great price for this piece.

This stand looks great, doors function well & it feels solid. It took a good hour and a half to build but it is not some cheesy stand. Once built it did not feel like it was going to fall apart when you moved it into position & then repositined it. For about 85% of the time I was dbuilding it by myself & likley could have done it myself but having that extra person helps. The sleves are a good fit in the middle I have the cable box & Xbox on the sides DVD player & what ever we want to add. It would be nice if the shelves had a notch so you could run cords better to the bottom shelf but thats not huge. The only issue I have is thet top was way to easy to scratch. I put a power supply on top of it that had a rough screw head & I slid it & ended up putting a big scratch across the top. BE SUPER CAREFUL with what you out on top of it when you move it. I would recommend this & will likely look at Walker Edison for future purchases.

Overall this is a nice console that comes with plenty of storage space and plenty of room to hold a wide screen TV on. I like the overall look of the console and think the hardware included is very nice. I would say the only drawback to this console is that the console is actually made of mdf and press board with white oak lament on it. The lament is very nice looking and looks to be bonded well with the mdf and press board. But i feel with there being so many people building these things that you can get almost the exact same thing but made out of real wood.
Assembly is fairly easy and I was able to get the console built in a little under 2 hours. There is a lot of doweling holes and I spent a good majority of time making sure the dowels would go in each hole then gluing the dowels in place. That is a nice feature with this console that they actually give you wood glue with your building materials so you can properly secure all your dowels. I will say that some of the instructions were difficult to figure out but I really don't blame the manufacture because it can be hard to show exactly everything when you only have a 2D black and white picture.
Overall this is a very nice console and looks like it will hold up well over time. My only wish was that it was made from solid wood.

The 58 in. White Oak Sliding Barn Door Console is such a well-made console that is a beautiful addition to our home! It is in our master bedroom but could be put in any room. The directions are clear, all of the needed assembly parts are included, and the step-by-step instructions guide you through the entire assembly. It is weighty enough to keep up over the years and is the perfect size, the shelves are a great size to be able to store any need and the doors slide easily back and forth!

The only difficulty i had in putting this item together...
The only difficulty i had in putting this item together was they don’t provide enough wood glue. Luckily, i had a tube of Liquid Nails and it worked perfectly. we are using this item for kitchen storage since we have limited cabinets and pantry space in our kitchen. it fits perfectly in the space i envisioned and neatly stores canned cokes, other soda’s, bottled water, chips and more. very happy with this product.
