The Spirit II E-315 is exclusive to Home Depot, sold in liquid propane and natural gas, the lid is available in black w/ a black door, it has gray kettles on gray metal control knobs, Porcelain-enameled/cast iron cooking grates included, it comes with stainless steel flavorizer bars, and it has a black frame/endcaps & cookbox. A: Hi Steve, great question! Most of our cooking grates would be able to accommodate approximately 25-35 pounds. The clearance between the cooking grate and the lid for the Spirit II E-310 measure 9inches. Please keep in mind, due to variations in the dimensions of each individual bird, the safest thing to do is to be in the supermarket so you can measure the turkey that you intend to cook. Great grill poor designed handle

Bugs get in the pocket on inside of handle . The handle is low so opens up right over food cooking ..Due to Poor design . i keep grill very clean . Remember to clean inside handle . Wont get into details of my experience

Consider buying something else, Do not ship

Only two wheels is poor choice. Not having a sturdy dedicated shelf, one that's only bolted to the frame and not apart of the frame is a worse choice. Oh and boy the amount of dents possibly received in shipping? makes me sad. The hose from the grill to the propane tank seems quite short. I regret this buy.

Good grill, but poor gas bottle support

The propane gas bottle support is a good idea, but unfortunately it's designed for US bottles, and at 6" is not wide enough for European bottles, which have a base of 12"-12.5". The result is that the gas bottle wobbles dangerously when the grill is rolled, even on a flat surface. This design fault could be fixed so easily with a larger base plate, which should still work for US gas bottles. An additional bolt-on flat plate would also be easy.

The propane tank hanger was installed wrong to where the propane tank could not be accommodated. I had to remove the hanger and install it properly to hang the propane tank. Not a big deal! Kind of a funny screw up more than anything else!

Excellent grill!

We wanted a nicer grill than what we’ve had in the past, but didn’t want to spend more than $600. Decided on this model based off of reviews and the Weber name and are super happy with it. We ordered online and had it delivered within a couple of days. Box is big and HEAVY (over 100 pounds). Assembly took us a while, but we suck at assembling things in general. A normal person could probably do the assembly in two hours or less. Grill is solid and great quality and first cook was a big success!

Nice 3 burner grill.

A little spendy for a 3 burner but the grill, housing and burner system are top quality. It fits 2 standard Lodge brand griddles perfectly and the 3 burner system is precise and versatile. I have only owned cabinet style grills in the past and the open design works well. I've never put anything in the cabinet anyway and the side mounting of the tank makes changing it a little easier. Indirect heating would be nice for a rotisserie. I am going to add a rotisserie and give it a try anyway. Size wise, it is plenty big for the 3 of us, We had guests and had to cook for 6, handled it just fine. To sum it up I'm happy with the size and layout, happy with the quality and look forward to many years of service.

Nice Grill

Great grill, just the right size for us. Only drawback is the drop down shelf on left side makes it difficult to move the grill since the wheels are on the right side. When lifting the grill to wheel it away from the deck the shelf lifts up. Shelf should be on right side.
