Does this screw onto a house internal faucet to give me a water pressure reading?

Example: I have looked at the manual and can't figure out what I did wrong.

Hi Chris. The PET-LF 2.5 ln. Brass Water Pressure Gauge has a ¾ in. swivel female connection that works well on a standard hose bib connection like the one outside that your garden hose hooks up to.
