    Nice knife, Lightweight
Pretty good knife. Straight blade and serrated blade. Spring loaded. Locks open. Lightweight, under 4 oz. Reversible belt clip. Titanium coated stainless steel blade. Not too bad looking either, has a pretty aggressive look. It also appears the whole knife can be disassembled and reassembled for repairs or cleaning. This has a nice spring inside and flips open very nicely. Does not feel like it would flip open in my pocket though. I would probably like it more if it locked closed though.

    Good knife
The Wiss folding pocket knife is just that, a folding pocket knife. It's not a multi-functional thing, but rather a good pocket knife. It's exactly what I like, it does one function well rather than half-baked 15 functions. The knife seems to be of good quality, it's sharp, and lays good in your hand. The tip of the knife is a bit unusual but it doesn't take long to get used to it. The spring assisted opening works well, but I wish it was lockable in closed position to prevent accidental opening, which hasn't happened yet but it may.

    Nice looking knife!
First off, I’m not really a pocket knife person like I was in the past. Even though I own a couple, I just don’t seem to carry one all the time anymore. The Wiss folding knife is a good knife but I don’t see it being good enough that I would carry it with me everywhere I go. From a tactical standpoint, the red stripe on the handle draws too much attention for my taste. For that reason I would probably not carry this as a self-defense knife. I would consider the plastic handle as probably the least desirable feature. The handle feels a little slicker than I would like, especially if the hands are a little sweaty or wet. The handle does have some grooves molded into it which help with gripping the knife but don’t seem to get caught up when drawing it from the pocket. The spring assist on the blade is crisp and so-far has worked flawlessly. With a few minutes of practice, the blade comes out very easily and locks into place every time. The blade itself is reasonably sharp although I think I can get a sharper edge if I were to work it on a stone. That said, with the spring assist and sharp blade, I am definitely keeping this away from my kids. I took the knife to work and used it to cut shrink wrap off of pallets and open taped boxes and for this purpose, it did very well (maybe better than a razor blade even). I also used it to cut plastic banding and rope that holds items to the pallets and it did well but the serrated blade almost gets in the way for this application. It was easier to try and cut with the actual blade rather than the serrated part but requires more control and force (I guess I’ll have to keep practicing that). At any rate, it’s still better than a razor blade for cutting banding. I also put it to the paper test just to see how sharp the blade was. It did so-so on this. I have seen sharper and I’ve seen worse. Overall, the knife is a good choice for the price point, especially for someone who might use a knife in their everyday work/life.

    Good looking knife
The Wiss folding pocket knife is a good looking tool. It fits well in my hand and the spring assisted opening is easy to use. Nice positive lock once open as well. It has a reversible belt clip and a piercing tip that is very sharp. Both straight and serrated edges and a place to clip or tie a line onto it if you wanted to prevent loosing it by dropping away. Good looking product.

    Typical Wiss Quality
All Stainless steel and the 3 1/8 inch long Titanium coated Stainless Steel blade is very sharp and will hold an edge forever, at least much better than other steels. Closed it is 4 5/8 inch long, 1 ½ in at its widest point and ¾ inch thick over the belt clip and open it is 7 7/8 inches long. It weighs 3.8 oz. The first thing I do with any folding knife is check the outside for burrs or sharp edges or anything that can catch on or damage a pocket. I close the knife and rub my hands all over the outside hard and I rub my finger along the inside of everyplace I can reach searching for sharp edges. There were no edges I could find that were sharp enough to cause any problems and the thumb studs were easy to find blind and flip open, right or left handed. Almost a little too easy because of the spring assist. This is not a knife I would let an unsupervised child or inexperienced person use. It is a Tactical knife, very sharp with a metal piercing (within reason) pointed tip that is pointed enough to gently remove splinters from a hand. I also like that along with the pointed tip it has good, usable cutting edges and a serrated heel that is 1 1/8 inches long making it Very versatile. The handle has a built in slot for a tether or flat wrist strap. The metal lining inside the slot also fully protects the knife edge from being nicked or cutting the tether. While the handle is smooth there are serrations providing excellent grip and the finger grips are well placed, even for my big hands. The blade locks open solidly and I could not get it to move even the slightest when locked open. It is larger than I prefer for a pocket knife but great for a belt knife. The spring belt clip is very stiff so it will not easily fall off even if you take a tumble in the woods and it is reversible so you can turn it to suit yourself.

          Inexpensive Work Knife.
Seems to be a good knife for a work knife with a reasonable price. At just under 20 bucks you wont cry too much if you lose it or break it or wear it out on the job. It opens easily with one hand using the thumb studs and spring assist, but the liner lock is still rather stiff and closing is better at least for now with both hands. The tanto blade shape is good for piercing drywall and the half serrated blade even works as a drywall saw on small areas like putting in electrical outlets as I did today. Its sharp and strong. The serrations are also good for stripping 12 gauge and 14 gauge solid wire. Its a little on the thick side for me for a daily carry knife when not on the job or working around the house, but as a work knife its great . Better knives can be had but they come with a bigger price tag. For a tradesman's work knife this one is a great choice

The angle is the blade makes it awkward to use
The knife looks well made and feel well made. The spring assist opening does help but not through the entire swing of the opening of the blade. The blade came pretty sharp but seemed to dull a little quickly after cutting up some cardboard. The blade with the two cutting edges is a bit different. I can see it being good is some aspects and not in others. the tip in the middle seems to dull quickly. Sharpening is a little bit trickier because of the blade shape. The grip is comfortable and the color makes it easy to find. It can be used left or right handed. Belt clip is nice and secure too.

Best knife I've owned so far...
Super sharp, opens quickly, light weight, and weighs less than my keys, but what I like best about the knife is the high quality without the high cost...

            A Knife is a Knife?
Well as a Retired Veteran, we have had our share of knifes, from K-bar to Rambo's and the Wiss Pocket Knife features a combination of many of them. The spring opening, blade locking open, thumb studs and even the clip are nothing new. The pocket/belt clip is reversible from one end the other and is the other thing I have a issues with and it holds well, but twist out of place from bending. Now for what set this knife apart from others for me; the titanium coat is a plus being harder than steel not only protects the blade but when using that 'Tactical" piercing tip glides in into a tin can or PVC pipe for that matter. The blades design, is serrated at the butt up to the straight blade a 50/50 cutting edge, finishing with the angle end forming the piercing tip. This is an area I use a lot, opening boxes, trimming and general detail cutting. the cutting edge along with the serrated, cut fast and ease. The final design feature is it shape, ergonomically slim, fitting easily into your pocket, your forget it's there, and it fits well in your hand. In my day, this would have been a great knife, from opening those great meals, cutting rope and right down to just everyday use.

            A great everyday knife.
I was looking for a replacement for the Kershaw knife I got from my Father Inlaw before he passed away to use at work. This fits the bill. The handle is comfortable and stable in my hand and the red makes it easier to spot if I set it down. The open assist makes for an easy one hand open with positive lock that can be closed with one hand as well. The serration at the base of the blade makes short work of zip ties and para-cord. The chisel tip works well for opening and breaking down boxes for recycling, just be careful that narrow tip is sharp!

              Functions Great!
Out of the many lockable folding pocket knives I own, this Wiss works the Best! Most importantly, it arrived with a razor sharp edge that holds and performs perfectly! The spring assist takes little effort to swing the blade open with my thumb and the lockable thumb release is as easy to work as opening the blade. The ergonomics of the handle fit my hands well and assures a positive grip when cutting. The tip is truly a razor sharp point that allows for easy penetrations and precise cutting. In all, this Wiss is a substantial portable cutting tool!

              Sharp & Handy
I use to never carry a pocket knife until now. This folding 4in blade with a spring assist and locks into place is really nice. The blade angle and sharp; works for me. I now realize just how many packages I open and this knife has been great assistance for me. No more ripping packages open like a wild animal and easier to return item without getting "the look" from the return person. Very good knife and side clip to boot!

              Nice
Comfortable to hold, sturdy, very happy with this one. Great Utility Knife. Easy to collapse. Safe to store and use. Works great, Opens easy for lefties like me. Feels well built and durable. Have cut a few things with it and the blade seems to be holding up nicely. I have used many different knifes over the years and this one feels so good in the hand and it light weight.

              great knife
I have several folding pocket knives. This one is great. It is sturdy and makes my work a lot easier. I do most of the jobs around the house that I can and recently I needed a sturdy knife and this one did the job. It is nice to have good tools to work with and this one is great. I will recommend this product to my friends and family. Thank you for a great product.
