A: I’m unable to spread as far as bag indicates, I always buy extra @ $4.97/per bag.
I like Cedar Grove compost because it doesn’t have an offensive odor.

A: Hi Frank -
A project of those dimensions would require about 211 bags. We would recommend purchasing your soil in bulk, which can be picked up at all 6 of our soil yards or can be delivered directly to your location. A project of this size would require about 8 cubic yards of soil. There is a yardage calculator on our home page at www.cedar-grove.com which will do these calculations for you.
We greatly appreciate you reaching out and feel free to contact our customer service team at 877-764-5748 with any other questions!

A: 1 cf = 1 foot x 1 foot x 1 foot. In other words 1 square foot that is 1 foot tall. So if you are covering a square foot with 3” then 1 cubic foot will cover 4 square feet. 830sf / 4sf per 1 cf bag of compost = 208 bags.

A: Well... it can certainly hide the ants that might make their home in the dirt underneath the mulch. ... But, I do not think of it as an attractant.
