Q:How can I keep the cone in place when it's windy?

Answer This Question

A:  You can hammer a plastic plant rod through the cone into the dirt if you're on soil. Or you can tape some weights to the underside/ base of the cone. Please don't use rebar because running over a cone with hidden rebar is going to be a disaster.

A:  These Cones are heavy duty.....will not blow away unless winds were hazardous to your health.... otherwise a regular windy day, there are no issues with the wind.

    by|May 4, 2023

A:  This is Heavy enough that most wind would not move it.

A:  The cones are weighted and should not blow over too easily. If necessary you can apply tape across the corners to hold them in place to any hard surface they may be placed on. If being used on grass you will have to get innovative. Maybe rocks? Thanks for asking!

Q:I would like to mark it as belonging to me so that it is less likely to get stolen. What should I use paint or marker?

A:  I would say permanent marker and then take some clear nail polish or clear spray enamel and spray over it so that it stays .

      by|May 4, 2023

A:  I'd use a Paint Pen..... I marked mine underneath and inside the cone.... but a White Paint Pen (a marker that uses paint instead of marker liquid) would work both inside and outside of marker.

      by|May 4, 2023

A:  We would suggest using a permanent marker as paint may chip off easily from the cones surface. You may need to reapply it now and again depending on use. Thanks for asking!

A:  You could use a wide stroke Sharpie to mark it, that's what I did.

        by|May 4, 2023

          A:  I used black marker.

A:  It certainly can be as it is a traffic safety cone which can be easily seen when in a vehicle. It also has a weighted base so it does not tip easily. Thanks for asking!
