A:  Reuse depends largely on how roughly the roller is used, and how thoroughly it is cleaned. Under normal circumstances, this roller should last for several projects. Any mini roller with a standard insert (not an open core) will fit this frame. Thanks,

A:  A 1/4in nap roller will generally give you a slightly better finish than a 3/8in nap roller, especially with a higher gloss paint. However, the 3/8in nap will hold more paint and still do a good job with the finish. Thanks,

A:  The answer depends on the manufacturer's recommendation for the specific refinishing product you purchase, so be sure to check the carton/container before you start. That being said, most manufacturers recommend a foam brush, high quality paint brush and/or a high quality, short-napped roller (like a 1/4in nap or 3/8in nap). For the roller type, be sure to choose either high-density foam or a woven fabric for best results. 4in or 6in mini rollers will be the easiest to work with on a project like this. Thanks,

A:  Unfortunately with the paint dried it will be very difficult to clean up a foam roller. A solvent strong enough to soften the paint could also damage the adhesive holding the foam onto the core of the roller. A:  I paint a lot in my home, & my tip to keep your rollers & brushes ready for use, is to wrap in a plastic bag & store out of heat, I also read that putting in the fridge is ok but the bags work so well, my Hubby gets the daily newspaper so I use those wrap nice & tight, best of luck BOD
