A: Thank you for your question. Without knowing the pitch of the roof or the design layout (A frame, lean to, etc.) this is a difficult question to answer. I can share some general information I hope you find helpful. When used for roofing, we recommended the panels are installed overlapping both of the 2 corrugations, giving each panel 21-1/2" width coverage. Check with local building codes for minimum pitch and gauge requirements. Good Luck with your project.

Answer This Question
A: Excellent question. I was looking for the exact same application. The 2nd picture says it's fire resistant, so I will assume it will for for the wood stove.

A: I did this, but I used cement board behind the metal sheet, the cement board was spaced out from the wall slightly, and up from the floor slightly, this allowed for the heat to escape and not build up in the space against the wall.

A: This would certainly work for what you want but you should know that this will still heat up and then transfer that heat to whatever it is attached to so make sure you put a good barrier of insulation behind it to protect the wall.

Answer This Question
A: Thank you for your question. Without knowing the pitch of the roof or the design layout (A frame, lean to, etc.) this is a difficult question to answer. I can share some general information I hope you find helpful. When used for roofing, we recommended the panels are installed overlapping both of the 2 corrugations (side lap), giving each panel 21-1/2" width coverage. If you were going to use only the 8' panels a minimum recommended length overlap is 6" (end lap). If used in a siding application the recommendation is 1 corrugation overlap, which gives the panel 24" width coverage. Check with local building codes for minimum pitch and gauge requirements. This particular panel is 29 gauge, which is two gauges above Utility gauge which is our thinnest. The Home Depot stores typically stock varying lengths, 6', 8', 10' and 12' but longer lengths, heavier gauges and different finishes are available through special order. Good Luck with your project.
