A: Hi Gary- A septic tank can be pumped without removal; the safety barrier has three cutouts that will accept a 6" hose. The safety barrier is removable in the event a properly credentialed sanitarian needs to service the baffles and/or enter the tank.

A: We do not recommend driving any type of lawn equipment over top the kit. The cover has a load rating of 2000lbs, however, the kits are only designed for minor foot traffic.

A: It can be trimmed, but this would need to be done between rings where the smallest inner diameter will fit with the lid and must be done evenly so that the top lid gasket can effectively seal off any possible odors when secured. Aero-Stream does offer varied elevation combinations for these risers so hopefully you would not have to trim it on your own.
