Q:This product is 28" deep. A product that holds 24" of water will require, according to IRC (International Residential Codes) to be surrounded by a 6-foot fence as it is a water feature and considered a MAJOR liability for drowning of toddlers, etc. Is there any fencing provided to keep in code compliance? The fence must also have a self-closing/locking latched opening. Any suggestions?
These codes applies throughout the USA, whether in a city or county or just out in the country somewhere. Looking for ideas.

A: In this case, deep means front to back and height means top to bottom. Much like you would say a drawer in a bureau is 28 inches deep.

A: The dimensions are poorly described. The HEIGHT is 17 inches, not 28.
