A:  It has both. There is an option for a heated wash so the heating element comes on. Also, if there is a water heater, that will make the water hot as it comes in.

A:  Manny, The dishwasher relies on the the water heater to supply hot water. For best dishwashing results, water should be at least 120°F (49°C) as it enters the dishwasher. The dishwasher will check the temperature and boost is in certain portions of the wash if needed. It also boost the water temperature for cycles options such as the high temperature option and sani rinse.

A:  I am sure the main water comes from the hot water heater but I just looked and there is a button that says Hi Temp and another for Heated Dry. I guess the Hi Temp button heats the water a little more. Not sure, just taking an educated guess. I run my hot water heater on 120 degrees. Not hot enough to burn your hand. When my dishwasher is on the hi temp setting. Steam comes out of the vents. Hope this helps.

A:  I don't see where it can be adjusted but I can put my 5 qt. pots on the top rack with no problems. I am very impressed with the room on both racks. It has a water wheel under both racks.
