Q:If I want the spa let seat to be about 17 inches from the floor how tall should the toilet be? The specs sat the spa let is 6 inches in height

A: From the floor to the top of my toilet bowl is 17". From the floor to the top of the seat is 18-3/4". The back part that heats water may be 6", but not where you sit.. The actual seat adds about 1-3/4" to the height of your toilet.

You will need to have at least 2" between the tank and the seat bolt holes for the seat to fit. You would want to check with your local Home Depot regarding any installation questions.
