All of the seats we sell currently measure at five and a half inches. The 4028 model was a five and a half inch spread. A:  Hello Sdadoo, Thank you for reaching out to American Standard. The 2038 was an unusual toilet as the bowl is not a true round or elongated shape. It had a very specific seat when it was still a current product under part number 5357.016. Unfortunately, once the seat was discontinued it was never replaced. You can use this seat as the bolt spread is five and a half inches but it won't match the contour of the bowl shape, nor will any of our other seats. You may still be able to find an original seat from a company called Allen the Toilet Seat Guy. They can be reached at 914-403-8300.
