A:  I use it outside so not sure about hair getting stuck.  I lift it up and shake it to clean anything stuck on it.  

A:  Try using a ?carpet rake?. Search ?carpet rake? here on Home Depot for examples. A carpet vacuum that has a rotating brush is usually effective for threads, but it?s not worth buying one just for one doormat.

A:  The Home Stone 18 in. x 30 in. Door Mat is 3/8" thick.

A:  No, It is about 3/8's of an inch thick and fits under my door which can't accommodate anything thick.

A:  I just went out and measured the thickness of the mat and it is less than 1/4 inch thick. Perfect for my door!

A:  This would probably be too thick for a door to swing/glide over. I have mines outside on the porch in front of the entrance door.

A:  Yes it is fairly thick that's why it does such a great job for outside use in my case

A:  Quite durable I love it it's wooded at my apartment complex and I often walked through the woods plus there's all kinds of mud in Georgia red clay and you're being there still Mountain sand and I walk to a bus stop or train station so it's working right because it's got raised places for the pattern stuff goes down in between it not into your house.
