A:  I have attached the installation guide, in there it mentions having a dedicated outlet for your spa including a GFCI. If you don't know if you have a GFCI on that outlet, consult with a licensed electrician. A:  Their is no on /off switch for heat besides unplugging or opening the GFCI reset . The circulation pump and heater runs to maintain set point. keep in mind it takes hours to reheat. When I'm not using the spa I set it to 85-95*F. Temperature rises three degrees a hour covered. When you first plug the unit it will run 24Hrs in till it reaches 100*F . Then you can set any set point desired the unit shuts down if not in use or temperature is satisfied . One button turns the circulation back on also the light can be turned on/off . All around nice spa with a 12 foot extension cord and the spa could get through small doorway. Just because the inflatable I had did not last.
