Our tiles are meant for a permanent application and attempting to remove them may cause damage to the substrate behind the tiles. However, sometimes they do come of cleaner if heat is applied prior to attempting to pry the tiles from your wall. You can use a hair dryer to heat the tiles and adhesive, then use a putty knife to carefully ply from your wall. Aspect tiles can be installed over most structurally sound substrates if they are clean, flat, smooth, dry, and free of dust, wax, soap scum and grease. Acceptable substrates are drywall, plaster or clean, smooth tile (glazed, porcelain type tile; not porous or textured). Any damaged, loose or uneven areas must be repaired, patched, leveled and primed. Fill cracks and irregularities with wallboard compound or spackling, then sand smooth with fine grade sandpaper. We do not recommend installing our tiles in a shower setting. We can not warranty the adhesive to withstand consistent direct water contact over an extended period of time. A:  We installed this product over a hard surface countertop. It was super easy to install and more than a year and a half later looks great and has stayed up with no issues. It is a good look.

A:  I don't see any problem with the adhesiveness over marble. My backsplash is over drywall behind the stove and no issues with any loose tiles...Excellent product.

A:  I installed the backsplash in the picture above. It is self sticking but would probably work on your marble stone if you used extra adhesive. I had to use adhesive in my bathroom because the moisture/heat from showers caused it to come loose if I didn't.

A chop saw (motorized miter saw) is recommended for straight cuts. A jig saw or scroll saw is recommended for non-straight cuts. For circular cuts, a hole saw works well. All cutting blades should be carbide-tipped or high-speed steel, and made for cutting nonferrous metal. When cutting is complete, use a fine-grit sandpaper or a small metal file to debur the cut edges. Take the cut tile to the work space and place it in its intended location and make sure it fits properly. For installign our square matted metal decorative backsplash brushed stainless tiles you may use a hole saw or coping saw for circular cuts or electrical outlet cutouts. First you would measure where the cut must be made, map out and mark the cut using masking tape to cover the surface of the tile. If your desire, you can use a fine-grit sandpaper or a small metal file to debur the cut edges.
