A: Personally, I bought a 55k burner. It works fine. That’s what my dad uses. But it can be a little slow heating back up after putting the turkey in (13-15lbs). I’ve cooked 3-4 turkeys now. I feel the same way every time. I wish I had a big more heating capacity. I’m considering a 100k or 200k in the near future. 100k should be plenty.
