Answer This Question

A:  Hi Will, thank you for your question. The Cabinet, Door, and Trim Paint has a faster drying time, allowing for a quicker return to service, while the Urethane Alkyd Paint provides excellent flow and leveling, similar to an oil-based finish, while still allowing for easy soap and water clean-up. Have a great day! - Randy

Q:In a closet that has cheap fake paneling. I want to paint it in a semi gloss white to reflect a bit of light, better visibility. Do I really need to sand, prime, or any other prep, besides washing the walls. Looking for cheap, easy, but decent. Thanks

    Answer This Question

A:  Hi Janet, thank you for your question. We do recommend prepping the surface prior to painting for the best results. The surface should be sound, clean, dry, and scuff sanded to promote adhesion if the finish is glossy. Also, use the Kitchen, Bath and Trim Primer and Sealer to prime before painting. Good luck with your project! -Giovanna

        Answer This Question

A:  Hi Rick, thanks for the question. If the cabinets are already painted, I'd recommend scuff-sanding the surface with 150-grit sandpaper, ensuring they are clean, priming them with our Kitchen, Bath & Trim Primer, and then applying the Cabinet, Door, and Trim Paint. If you have additional questions about painting your cabinets, please feel free to reach out to us directly; our customer care team is happy to help. -Ronald
