Thanks for taking an interest in DeckOver! It’s a great product but as it turns out, isn’t recommend for wood paneling. Main reason being that wood paneling is usually glossy, and DeckOver can’t properly adhere. Instead, I recommend sanding your siding and filling in cracks with something like paintable caulk. You can then prime with our Multi-Surface Primer & Sealer and paint over it with a flat paint which hides surface imperfections.

Thanks for writing in with your question. If spraying DeckOver, we recommend an airless sprayer with a .027"-.035" tip size and no filter.
