A:  Hello Lucy, S62 is a common, universal designation model for the chain required. The specs for the chain saw chain are 3/8 Inch Pitch, .050 Inch (1.3 mm) gauge, 62 drive links. Any brand with these specs will fit your sprocket drive. ( 90609779) is Home Depot's unique part number. This allows Home Depot to sell you their brand choice of replacement chains. Personally, I always use Oregon brand. These can be purchased directly from HD in single and double pack. I have purchased elsewhere ten (10) packs to maximize item price value, at about $10-11 dollars each. MULTIPLE locations exist on-line. The quality of steel used is the only unknown, so I don't trust Chinese imports. They work, but dull quickly. Chains can cost about $20 each, and still be considered a fair price, imho. Chains CAN be resharpened 1-3 or even more times, either by DIY or at local lawnmower repair shops for less than $10 each (which is best method). It's not difficult (watch YouTube demos), and only requires an appropriately sized round file. (I've seen pros do it while hanging from a tree). Don't allow the chains to cut soil, it's abrasive and will dull a blade almost immediately. Resharpen as soon as cut wood chips change from bits of wood to sawdust. The more frequently sharpened blade will last MUCH longer than one that is allowed to severely dull before resharpening. I've used electric saws for about 14 years. The B&D that I use now is 1-1/2 years old and working perfectly. You made an excellent choice. Be careful, SAFETY FIRST!
