A:  No. The hand hole that makes it easier to remove the lid from the bucket is a hole.

A:  I love it. I consider it to be fairly easy to remove. I don't get into the bottom very often but removing it hasn't been a problem.

A:  yes it does. I only wish it was of heavier duty plastic to hold up better for use.

A:  Yes it does remove easily, note the handle. I have seen these on jobsites so the contractors that have them give them frequent use

A:  It snaps on very securely (of course depending on the rim of the bucket you use) but is still very easy to remove because of the hand-hole incorporated into the lid. The entire product seems very well designed.

A:  Yes, pull outwards just a bit with fingers as grasp the lid edge. Similar to a plastic lid on coffee can. I imagine you could make it real easy spray some silicone onto a paper towel and apply to inside of lid or bucket rim.

Q:will it fit with a bucket boss on the bucket?

                    A:  yes

A:  It seems to fit fairly snugly on just the bucket. Any other layer of material over the edge of the bucket opening might or might not allow the lid to fit depending on the thickness of the material.

A:  Well...the answer is probably...since it's made by the same company that sells the fabric cover for a bucket that holds tools...which is the original Bucket Boss. This lid is designed to clamp around the plastic top edge of a 5 gallon bucket. When you install the tool holder Bucket Boss, you cover the top edge of the bucket...and that may interfere with this lids ability to clamp onto the bucket. So, I think this lid will still fit down on the bucket, but I doubt if it will securely clip on...but, it does offer a seat for ya. I'd go for it.

A:  Yes, but don't "plop" down on it. I used it to sit on all the time but one day just plopped down for a break and bottle of water and cracked the plastic. I'm a bit too big for that move.

A:  Absolutely...just don't tip the bucket back while you sitting on it. That might cause the bucket to split. I weight 240, and it works great.

A:  I would say most definitely, with the caution that if you had tools in your back pockets I could see the cover of the lid possibly getting cracked.
