A:  Hello HRconstruction. You would not be able to order a split finish knob set in the Prestige collection. You would be able to order a Split finish knob set from the Baldwin Reserve collection.

A:  SmartKey Security re-key technology is compatible with 5 pin (K1 and K5) and 6 pin (K10) keyways. If your other locks use the same type of keys, then yes, you can re-key the new SmartKey lock to match.

A:  We use this knob on an exterior door without screen door for over a year. No degradation noticeable, no traces of rust.

A:  I have had the same problem. The lock mechanism inside to lock comes loose and therefore does not engage. You can fix it by taking the door knob apart and tightening the mechanism but, it only works for a short time. I have actually had the whole front knob fall completely off. It is a great looking door knob but, does not work well. I would not buy it again.
