A: I'm sorry but this particular item doesn't allow that; You would need to use a Center Mount hinge to go both ways.

A: Page 3 of the installation instructions say to allow two inch clearance for the hinge but there doesn't seem to be any details about how much adjustment is available. Not counting how much adjustment is available in the hinge itself, the oval holes for the U-clamps appear to offer a fair amount of adjustment.
