            A:  Thank you for your question. We do not have a GRL240HL model. Just the GRL240HV (GRL240HVCK) The CK means it comes as a kit with the leveing rod, tripod and laser receiver.

              A:  The GRL240HVCK is designed for both interior and exterior use. When using in bright light outdoors or long distances you would need to use the included laser receiver.

                A:  I have had trouble with it in direct sunlight. Even when wearing the red glasses to help see the laser, it is still difficult but it will still ping the receiver on the pole and beep, the success in that is getting it there.
