Answer This Question
A: Probably not. A hammer drill is not the same thing as a rotary hammer. I doubt your hammer drill will have the SDS-Plus chuck.

A: This kit will work in any brand hammer drill that is sds-plus compatible. Mine happens to be a Milwaukee.

A: Flat chisel is used to chip cement or to remove excess materials. You need to use a hammer drill bit for your application. For further assistance, contact us at 1-877-BOSCH99 (1-877-267-2499) from Mon-Fri 7A-7P CST.

A: It won't be a nice round hole. It'll be jagged, etc. I'd drill a bunch of small holes around the circle or buy a 3/4" hole saw or masonry bit. You're going to hit the wire also you'd have to cut it with snips.

A: I'm sure it could be done but I'm sure would crack the stucco. The chisels are for concrete or masonry breaking not drilling. But Bosch offers a 3/4 sds plus bit to purchase separately. Which would offer a cleaner round hole.

A: The chisel is not for drilling, its for shaving and cutting material. You want to use the boring bits to drill your hole.

A: Because it's so crumbly and held together with chicken wire, stucco doesn't like to be drilled. If I had to do it, I probably try masonry bits, starting with 1/8" or 1/4" pilot hole. I think these flat chisels would cause too much collateral damage.
