A:  Yes, this adapter is made for the conduit to slip inside the fitting.

A:  For the "slip connection the conduit will slid into the smooth opening opposite the threads

A:  The Male Terminal Adapter fits over the plain end of the conduit with the threaded end of the adapter exposed.

A:  No it cannot, we have a specific Male Adapter for or flex conduit - item 5163417 for the 1"

A:  Cantex recommends a 1/2" O ring

A:  We do not make these in metal.

A:  An unequivocal maybe. The question is does the "standard" (no such thing) 30 amp disconnect have a 3/4" knockout available. Most disconnects have multiple KOs (1/2, 3/4, for sure and sometimes 1" and larger). It just comes down to size and how many.

A:  It will fit 3/4 pvc schedule 40 conduit on the glue up end. The threaded end is typically used to enter a box and be secured with a nut.

A:  That's what it's made for.

A:  Yes, it absolutely be used for schedule 40. They do make it in white as well.

A:  This should be 3/4 inch mpt.
