    Q:Can this unit be right hand or left hand drive? All marketing photos show the crank shaft on the right which means the unit has to be mounted on the left. We are looking for a unit to mount on the right where the crank shaft comes out of the left side

      A:  Hello Tim F, thank you for your interest in our opener, the RJO101 door requirements as far as height and width are as follows. Door must be no taller than 14 feet in height, 18 feet in width, and the area must not exceed 180 square feet.           A:  Hello Doug, if you lose power and the battery backup does not kick on and you are outside of the garage. Unfortunately, there will be no way to manually release or open the garage door without having access to the opener.
