A:  You might have to get or make you some brackets

A:  While the winch is water resistant, it is not waterproof. Therefore, we do not recommend that the winch be submerged in water at any time. Thank you.

A:  Car battery

A:  I use a deep cycle 12v - 35ah battery to operate a 2000# harbor freight winch to pull logs up a ramp onto my sawmill. If I were using a 3500# winch to run on a trailer, I would probably use at least 12v-50ah battery.

A:  12 volt DC battery.

A:  You would need a wire harness specific for you model ATV for it to be "plug and play"

A:  This is a stand alone system not designed to plug into any specific vehicle's system. You may be able to find kits from Polaris that will allow you to connect standard 12V DC winches like this one to their existing wiring on the dash for example.

A:  The winch, of course, color coded wires that go from the battery to the relay and to the winch. All the necessary nuts, bolts, wire connectors, etc. and the button with wires attached (comes with a motorcycle handlebar mount). It also came with a universal mounting plate that you may or may not use. I bought a separate mount with cable guide to fit my Polaris RZR. If you are installing in a vehicle, you can buy a1' X 2' rocker switch that really looks nice in the dash panel. I would also recommend the remote as it is almost impossible to run a winch from inside the vehicle. In my opinion, this is an excellent winch for the money.
