A:  It's fits over our 29.5" diameter fire pit with room to spare, but doesn't seem particularly loose at all (it just looks a little baggy). The velcro strap does keep it tighter around the bottom of our fire pit as well, so I don't have any concerns about it blowing off in the wind either.
