Answer This Question
A: Hi David, If you order this door and install it yourself you would have to dispose of your old door. If you go through the professional install program at Home Depot there are options for the old door to be taken down and hauled away as part of the that process. Q:What?s the difference between the 6.5 and the 12.9 r value
by|Aug 4, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Hi Mike, The difference between these two doors is the 6.5R door uses polystyrene insulation and the 12.9R door uses polyurethane insulation which is a much denser and heavier insulation therefore you get about double the R-Value even though the doors are the same thickness.
