            A:  Yes, all printer cables should work on all printers, so long as it is a USB type B connection (4 pin). I've been looking for one this size myself and plan to buy this one for my PIXMA. Anyhow, back to the cable, so one end has your typical USB connection (USB type A) that goes to your computer and the other end has the connection to your printer, USB type B, which your PIXMA MG2920 requires. I'm sure with this one you'll be good to go. I'll update this if it is any different.
