A:  Frequency rating of coaxial connectors isn't the same as Wi-Fi signal. Unless you have DOCSIS 3.1, MoCA 2.x, or Wi-Fi over coax, the FR isn't that important unless you want to future proof or are having interference problems.

A:  With a standard F-59 connector. It just screws on to the F59 coupling.

A:  The coaxial wire would need to be fished in the wall, as is electrical cable. A low voltage box will be placed in the wall where the cable will connect to the plate and then the plate screwed to the box.

A:  I purchased this hoping I could use this like my past home where I just screw in the back to attach to this wall plate. However, in the 60 year old home I purchased, it didn't work that way. I had to unscrew the blue coaxial attachment to have a plain plate with hole. Then I used the old cable, unscrewed nut to slip into plate to use. I saved the blue coaxial tip in case in the future I need.

A:  You screw it in to the back. the front and back piece is identical, so its is basically a "barrel" connector

A:  you will have to change the type of wall plate if you want more than 4 wire connectors. CAT5e plates have 8 contacts I believe

A:  A standard phone jack only needs two wires to operate. The first line is usually the pair of red and green. Line two, if you have one, would be yellow and black. If you have three phone lines, the third would be white and blue (in the standard color scheme. The wiring inside your house likely doesn't follow this color code (it probably has pairs of wires with stripes -- blue/white, orange/white, etc -- so if you're replacing an existing jack, make a note of which color of wire is attached to which terminal, so you can connect the new outlet correctly. You'd only need all three pairs of wires connected if (for example) you had some sort of adapter plugged into the jack that shifted line 3 from the wall to the red/green pair for the sole phone connected -- or if you have a multi-line phone, perhaps for a home office.
