A:  Hi, yes you can use the same water and drain. But you need to confirm the water supply pressure is 0.04-0.6 MPa. This is gravity drainage, so the height of the drain outlet must be lower than the height of the ice machine outlet.

A:  You could use the same water line but it’s a gravity drain line and the outlet is down low.  

A:  It will drain out of machine.

A:  No it does not have a built in water filter. Unsure which ice maker does.

A:  Your drain line may be plugged up. Our unit was doing the same thing. Found that was the problem .
