Q:Is this 8 or 9 inch? Part number CCA20509 should be 9", but the specs say it is 8".

A: Power should always be turned off before cutting a wire. The grips are for comfort only and not to allow you to cut wiring with voltage present.

A: It has a lifetime warranty from Crescent and is 90 day returnable at Home Depot. I got this information from Crescents website. Nice pliers.
