Q:How long will it last

Answer This Question

A:  I was hoping that it would last longer. But this Dr. Earth potion only works for a few days with diminishing effect, it it doesn't rain. My assessment is that it is most effective for about 48 hours; then it becomes less effective for another 48 hours. In 4-5 days, I start to see the bugs coming back to almost 'full strength'. Then another application is required. Them buggers never go away. If it rains, it gets washed away and you will have to reapply. Not cheap! Hope this helps.

A:  Thank you for your question. Dr. Earth Insect Killer sprays are a contact killer, the insects that are sprayed directly will be killed. This is not ideal for a deterrent, it may deter some insects for up to 48 hours as long as it does not rain or sprinklers do not wash the spray off of the plant.

A:  Nonn, It is a contact kill, but will detour some insects for a week depending on conditions.

A:  I have only used it indoor plants to keep meeley bugs off the plants, it is a plant based formula but that does not necessarily mean it won’t harm bees. The best way to avoid harming bees is to either build a green house structure, or invest in an aquaponic system and garden INDOORS that way you won’t have to worry about insects eating your food at at all.
